Dormitorio semplice, senza troppe pretese

Khalid is a great guy, he manages the Bar and the music most of the time! Food was delicious 👌🏼

It's a party hostel,, but when I was there it was just very loud music most of the time, not really a party...the music was always very good tho!😅🎶 If you come here when it's packed you'll have a great time 👌🏼

We checked out early because we couldn't stay here. We were to stay in the female dorm, which was right up next to the street on the ground floor with no way to lock the door securely. There was a hole in the wall right next to my bunk so bugs could get in from the outside. The sheets were dirty and covered in sand when we got there. We paid a high price for a room during new years but it was an absurd price for the quality of stay. I've paid much less for much nicer hostels. They were able to refund us one night but as a female traveler I would NOT recommend staying here. Also, before we even showed up the hostel requested an extra payment through a message on booking.com saying they would cancel my booking if we didn't pay it. I wanted to report it and try to book a new hostel before I even got there but couldn't find a way to do so on booking.

Staying at Mandala House was honestly one of the happiest experiences I’ve had in Goa. From the moment I arrived, the place felt alive, colorful, and full of good energy. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the washrooms were well maintained, and everything felt taken care of. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and always smiling, which made the stay even more special. There was always something happening here, fun parties, music, dancing, and a beautiful open, ambient space where you could just let loose and enjoy. They have plenty of space to chill out, a pool table to have fun with friends, an in-house café serving amazing food, and even an inbuilt bar, which adds so much character to the place. Every corner of Mandala House is filled with vibrant, colorful paintings that make the space feel artistic and joyful. It’s also located in a prime area, very close to Palolem making it super convenient to explore around. The food deserves a special mention, it was absolutely amazing and felt comforting, not just like hostel food but something made with care. Overall, Mandala House didn’t feel like a stay at all, it truly felt like home, a place full of warmth, laughter, freedom, and beautiful memories. I’d happily come back again just to relive that vibe.
