The apartment was very good, clean, and comfortable overall. The location was convenient, and the accommodations worked well for our family. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and we had an enjoyable stay. Overall, the property provided a great experience.

Although the listing states that the apartment can accommodate up to 8 guests, the number of dishes, glasses, and utensils did not seem sufficient for that capacity. We also found that there were no pillows available for guests using the sofa bed or the air mattress. Additionally, the sofa bed mattress appears to be worn out and was not very comfortable for one person to sleep on. These are relatively small issues, but addressing them would improve guest comfort significantly.

The hotel water for the showers/baths runs out rather quickly. For it being four of us, me being last to shower, it was ice cold.

This was an incredibly inconvenient booking. First, I booked the reservation on behalf of a colleague. I provided the colleague's information as the guest as part of the booking, but all future communication from the hotel came to me, and they refused to interact with the guest directly. Prior to check in, the hotel sent me a message with rules and instructions to pay a $200 deposit, which I forwarded to the guest. The guest paid the deposit by transferring a payment (not a credit card). While the hotel accepted this form of payment, the payment then said it would take several days to go through, and the site would then not provide the access information for the building because the charge was pending. Being stuck as the middle-man, I had to go back and forth between them and the guest to try to get him access to the building. Why the hotel would accept a payment that took days to process is unclear. They refused to take a credit card over the phone to settle the situation in order to grant my colleague access to the booking. Eventually they provided access to the building, but requested $200 cash between the hours of 11am - 7pm as a deposit even though (i) the colleague could no longer get back the $200 he had transferred and (ii) as we were there for a conference, my colleague was not available between 11am - 7pm. Further, my colleague reported the bed was so uncomfortable he slept on the couch.

communicaion problem between host and booking platform. wrong host phone number. no info about host identify and that host would be wanting an online payment of damage deposit so I thought the email request was a scam.

First, the building seems to be full of a bunch of rentals. The building had its own security, almost 24-hrs. The apartment building was highly decorated in the lobby! Secondly, the place itself! It looks exactly like the photos. The apartment was very nice! Clean, organized and well-equipped. We felt secure in the building/apartment. I’m a stickler for clean bathrooms and beds. The bathroom was very clean, even the tub. The beds were comfortable and clean (I checked for bed bugs). Sidenote: the laundry is in a room on the floor, not in-unit. Third, the location itself. The location is on Michigan Ave (10 min drive from the Mile), which means it’s pretty busy (steady). The area felt safe, coming from a solo woman. I felt like I could walk across to the parking lot at 1am and be fine. Also, I didn’t know that there WNBA arena is literally down the street. Parking: I recommend setting up pay, with the owner, to buy parking. All street parking costs and the max time limit is 2 hrs.

My only “complaint” has nothing to do with the unit; but with the street traffic, there is constant ambulance, horns and just city street noise (not people, more cars) to consider.

We love staying here! This was our 3rd time booking this property and it’s always a pleasure. It’s very clean and well stocked. The host is very responsive and friendly.

Responsive to concerns. Location is ideal.

• Day one of our stay the temperature outside was 32 degrees and the heating unit in our room was not working. After several hours of trying to get to fix the problem we were advised at 11:00pm to switch rooms. By that that time the grandkids were sleep. Room temperature in the room dropped to 40 degrees. • Day two of hour stay the keyless lock on the new room would lock and unlock on it’s own throughout throughput the night. Had to put a chair u Dee the door handle for security. Took the maintenance guy several hours to resolve. • Did not feel safe.

The location was nice and the staff were more than willing to help and always responded promptly. The apartment was very tastefully decorated and they paid attention to detail and all the amenities were in place. Really a home away from home!!
