Pristine and comfy Mid-City 2BD 1BA

The hosts responded to our emails very quickly. The duplex is in a convenient location to Whole Foods, restaurants, and tourist activities, such as Bourbon Street. The kitchen is nicely outfitted with appliances, dishes, paper towels. However, the silverware and knives could be a little better quality. The bathrooms have plenty of towels, soap, shampoo, etc.

The house is a duplex and was a poor value (for what we paid for it) and was neither pristine, nor comfy. The furniture looks like it came from a secondhand store. The king bed is well used and needs to be replaced. The living room couch is so uncomfortable, we needed to sit on pillows to watch tv. Since we were there in January, we had to turn on the heat and it warmed up the bedrooms, but the living room remained cold.
