Dog Friendly Caravan With Large Decking Near Heacham Beach, Ref 21052H

Good basic accomodation - very spacious and good location

The mattresses on the beds were very basic and not comfortable

We booked as needed quite an urgent place to stay to visit some family in the local area. Location was ideal, close to relatives and we could bring our dog so didn’t have to worry about boarding him.

We spent less than a few hours here each night purely just to sleep, and didn’t use any of the facilities around the park so cannot comment on those. We went out/to relatives to eat every day so did not even open the kitchen cupboards within the caravan. The caravan itself was very dated, the carpets are stained and the shower was mediocre, but was fine for a quick wash. We were advised we needed to provide our own bed sheets, so we took everything of our own, including a weighted blanket. We only used the pillows provided. There was a duvet available but we did not use this. The mattress was very uncomfortable, with sharp springs throughout. It was noted dogs weren’t allowed on any furniture despite being advertised as dog friendly, but we took our dogs crate so he would be comfortable and could ensure he didn’t go on anything. Prior to ‘checking out’, we ensured everything was left as we found it, even going to the length of hoovering before locking up. We the received an email later that week accusing us of damaging items within the caravan- including ‘pulling the pin from a fire extinguisher’ that we never even saw, ‘staining’ the duvet in the double bedroom and ‘staining’ a duvet in the twin bedroom. We are a married couple, we didn’t even enter the twin bedroom! Despite disputing this and providing evidence, as well as previous reviews noting stained bedding long before our stay, the company charged a replacement fee from our account. Would NOT recommend staying here. Not worth it in the slightest, and a huge disappointment.

Nothing its immaculate inside

Lovely and spacious also clean with nice outside area too. Very comfortable in a nice quiet location.

The caravan was spacious and comfortable and the location was perfect for exploring the area.

First day we visited the camp shop, only to be served by an uninterested, almost miserable man. Maybe he was having an off day. The shower in the caravan was next to useless, barely warm and no real control over the temperature. The electric fire which would have been useful in the evenings didn't work at all.

Fabulous value for money, the caravan was fairly basic but perfect for our long weekend break. Comfortable and roomy and only a short distance from the beach.

Some basic maintenance jobs needed doing, but nothing we couldn't work around.

Caravan was clean and comfortable the park is in a great location check in and check out was nice and simple everything required for a pleasant stay was provided in the caravan.

No WiFi available, Only one chair was usable outside on decking area second chair was broken outside furniture could do with replacing.
