Number 79, Cosy Central Helensburgh 1 Bedroom, ground floor pet friendly, garden

Eine nette kleine Wohnung für 2, nah am Zentrum und doch ruhig mit fast allen wichtigen Dingen. Fürs Bad wäre etwas zum Aufhängen der Handtücher gut gewesen, der eine Halter an der Tür ist wenig, und auch ein kleines Regal z.B. über der Toilette, damit nicht alles auf dem Boden abgestellt werden muss. Sonst ein schönes Bad, große Dusche. Das Bett ist schön groß, es könnte etwas fester sein. Küche und Wohnraum ist gut und die kleine Terrasse auch nett.

Da gibt es nicht wirklich was. Nur zur Erläuterung, es gab keinen persönlichen Kontakt.

The kitchen was clean and well stocked, I’m not a fan of left over coffee and such remaining for the next people, I’d rather have an empty kitchen but others might like this.

It was really dirty everywhere other than the kitchen, I can only assume this is because guests have to clean most of the kitchen. The bedroom was smelly and dirty, like the bedding had been slept in with animal hair to match. The rug was so stained it should have been in the bin. The bathroom was rotten, black and pink mould from lack of cleaning, so unhygienic. The towels (one small and the rest were hand towels) were stained and almost see through. The living area had dirty stained sofas, again all linen dirty and smelly. The flat above was fairly noisy and in and out all day and walk past the windows so you have to have the curtains or blinds shut. Entrance hedges overgrown so I got soaked coming in and out. Didn’t like my stay. I did message the property to let them know my negative comments before posting a review, just in case something had gone wrong as the previous reviews are all positive, but they ignored my messages. I wish I could post the rest of my photos, if I’d have seen this review I would have stayed elsewhere.

It was perfectly situated for us as we were visiting family nearby. The fact that there was free parking and everywhere we needed to go was within walking distance so the car was rarely needed. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with tea, coffee and sugar provided which was handy after a long journey. Towels and washing facilities were provided too.

Minor fault, but the outside was in need of a little TLC but the inside more than made up for it, and certainly didn’t detract from our stay

Location, cleanliness, good sized rooms, large bed, well equipped kitchen, good sized TV, double shower, comfortable lounge. Super washing machine, good fridge etc. Cleaning materials provided as well as towels.

Parking a bit of a challenge but we managed to park close by. People live in separate accommodation above and when leaving their flat they walk past the windows in lounge. Shared garden so may be good idea to keep curtains closed! Could maybe provide some hooks to hang coats and towels on.

All good, great location and we managed to park outside.

Outside is a bit off-putting but once inside you have everything you need.

Very clean, newly decorated. Comfy bed. Very convenient to restaurants takeaways and pubs. Great base for travel to Loch lomond and further north. Id very very highly recommend the mandarin Chinese takeaway up the road a bit. Me n wife thought it was the best Chinese we had ever tasted. The flat was also warm n cosy and a great big well ventilated shower.

I can't fault the place. Even buying some milk for teabags was easy as shops are within 5 minutes walk.

The flat is in a great location close to bars and restaurants. Very comfortable with all facilities provided. Very comfortable bed and great walk in shower.
