The smell of fire in the flat, the burnt charcoal wafting around from the restaurant downstairs, the lack of chairs, the lack of dining area, the filthiness of the hallway, the broken fridge, the inadequate cooking equipment, the horrendous sound of people running around upstairs

Unfortunately there is an apartment above the unit, there was a very loud group in that unit, unable to get to sleep until after midnight.
