Dirty, very well used floor mats that had to be removed for cleaning. Bed linen that was too small for the bed. Having to use same sheets for two weeks. Having to ask for a new kitchen bin to replace dirty old one. Having to ask for new furniture for balcony to replace old and broken chairs. Generally carrying out quality assurance that host had neglected.

Perfect location, nice balcony.

The apartment gets very hot, no ventilation in the bathroom.

Clean. Spacious bedroom and living room. Sea view.

Far from Funchal centre. Small bathroom and the shower wasn't clean enough. Only 2 rolls of toilet paper for 2 persons for 4 nights stay.

Kitchen was left dirty, handles falling off from windows, brown stained towels, but this would be nothing compared to the fact that the property was advertised and rented out for 3 people, stating it had a sofa bed. upon arrival we were left with a small sofa (NOT sofa bed), and not the same as in the picture. Landlord kept calling us stupid and liars, and refused to acknowledge the fact that the property has only one double bed to sleep on. We gave more them ample time for booking.com to try to resolve this, however they were not helpful and just wanted to delay. We had no other choice then to leave the property on the 2nd day (we booked 6 nights), and look for alternative place to stay. We are shocked how this could have happened and that booking.com were unable to resolve this nor they have agreed to refund us the money.
