The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel and facilities were clean and provided for all our needs. The beach, swimming pool, tiki bar and music were great. The hotel is within walking distance of the boardwalk and businesses.

The restaurant was convenient, but understaffed on two of the four mornings. The food was good, but we had to wait a long time on two of the four mornings.

voco The Shelby is right on the beach and has a pool that overlooks the beach too. The room was a good size and very modern. Also very clean. It looked as if the bathroom had recently been updated and the shower was super powerful! The pool area was very relaxing and bar serving drinks and snacks. Pool towels were available too. There's plenty of car parking space, some just outside the hotel and some just across the road. A special mention to all the staff who were all so friendly and welcoming!!

voco The Shelby is arranged in three adjacent blocks. We were in the center block, which also has the reception area in it. We noted that this block only has one elevator which was often quite busy. Busy with guests busy also with the staff. So you could often find yourself sharing the elevator with staff pushing trolleys full of towels, bedding or housekeeping materials etc.

Good location on the beach, but the place is dated and could use an upgrade.

Was charged $75 for my dog for 1 night, even though she is fully housebroken, quiet and well trained. Mentioned in the booking “there may be a fee,” but no mention that it would be so high.
