The view padang, Amazing view, 8 mins Mentawai fast ferry, cold beer,close to restaurants

The room was good and Robert the owner and his staff were very helpful. We were able to hire a motorbike to get around.

The property is a bit remote from town which can make access a little more difficult. But it makes it very quiet which is nice.

Incredible hosts who go over and beyond to make your stay in Indonesia one to remember. We shall not forget the hospitality and we will be sure to return!!

It's a bit out of town and getting a cab could be challenging. Local staff did not explain breakfast options well.

Robert and his team were all very welcoming and helpful, providing advice on what to do in the local area and making us delicious pancakes every morning, including at 5am on the day of our departure. The room we were in had the most comfortable mattress and pillows, and the quietest air con. Both our room and the shared spaces were very clean, and importantly there was a water dispenser, with both cold and hot water available. The whole guesthouse had a lovely homely vibe and an excellent outdoor seating area with the best views to the ocean and the sound of birds and monkeys. It’s pretty much surrounded by a jungle. We spent 3 days just chilling on the shared terrace. Vegetarian options for lunch and dinner were limited in the local area, but Robert gave us a list of recommended restaurants from which we were able to order food to the guesthouse. The transfer to the airport was safe and convenient.

Excellent location about 10 minutes away from Padang. After spending some time in the traffic of Padang, it is refreshing to get there and admire the ocean from the terrace. The family running the business is lovely and willing to help with anything needed. The price is very honest. 5 minutes walk from the property there's a nice bar with a restaurant.
