Stoneleigh Cottage #10

I didn't actually stay in no 10 at the last minute I was put in no 27 with no explanation. It was a smaller property but adequate for my needs.

I didn't get the code until the evening before I went which proved very stressful and it was very difficult contacting the owners. The property next to mine (which wasn't the one I was supposed to be in) was being refurbished and could be noisy at times as most of the work was carried out in the evenings.

Used as a base while seeing friends in nearby Seaton. Very modern, comfy accommodation. Good communication with owner from booking to stay. Quiet area.

Nothing that I disliked although my partner did say that she was glad to have taken her hair dryer as there wasn’t one there and a full length mirror in the bedroom would’ve been nice for her also.

The chalet was very comfortable and well equipped with lots of little touches to make it special such as the complimentary toiletries. It was also lovely and warm which was appreciated in such stormy weather.

My own fault - I didn't read the description properly- but there was no internet. This is a bit challenging when the location is isolated and you can't drop into a bar or pub.

Lovely little apartment with a beautiful location. Great to be close to the donkey sanctuary and not too far out of the way for getting into Sidmouth. Good communication from the hosts, very quick to respond to messages.

We knew that the property does not have WIFI but there is also no phone signal which is a bit tricky! Just good to be aware of before you travel so you can make plans in advance/download maps if you need them.

It was in a good location and was spacious for the two of us.

It wasn’t clean, the floor was dirty and the rug in there was disgusting. The bath was dirty and they gave us half a toilet roll for our stay. No wifi and no signal on the television or Netflix as advertised.

The property was cosy and had a nice warm feel, has everything you need for a short stay.

Property wasn’t cleaned to any decent standard although there was a power cut that happened the night before my stay the cleaners only really managed to make the bed the morning before my arrival.

Very modern facilities inside and it was lovely and warm. It had everything we needed for an overnight stay. It’s also close enough to the donkey sanctuary to hear the donkeys (which is why we picked the location) and they’re only a short walk away.

Nothing really

We liked the location of the property. It had great views from the living room. It was very well equipped with everything you needed. The heating was great , lovely and warm especially as the weather had turned colder being at the end of November. The donkey sanctuary was next door and we would definitely recommend a visit there.

The Tv signal was a bit intermittent and no WiFi or phone signal but that was all really. Just take a book and it was the perfect getaway.

Everything we needed. Nice and clean. We wished we could have stayed longer. Lovely hearing the donkeys in the morning! Location was great for us.
