Our first day in the apartment was full of unpleasant surprises. The access code to the door didn't work, so we couldn't get in. We ended up spending half a day on the street before someone came to fix it. We initially contacted the property through WhatsApp, as instructed, but the response was slow and unhelpful. Communication was difficult because they only spoke Spanish. Once we switched to messaging via Booking. com, the replies become more prompt and attentive, though still signed off impersonally as "Various Mundos" ( Diverse Worlds) They sent us a video showing how to open the door using the access code and key, but later admitted the video was outdated and no longer useful. After a long conversation ( totalling a few hours ), someone finally arrived and fixed and changed the code. Only then could we enter and leave the apartment as needed. Unfortunately, we lost half a day of our short trip, including pre-booked activities and the money spent on them. This was a significant loss, considering we were only staying for four days.

DISADVANTAGES OF THE APARTMENT: 1. The apartment is much smaller than it appears in the photos 2. All four bedrooms are small and have no windows. 3. The entire apartment lacks windows; the only way to air it out is by opening the front door directly onto the street. 4. One bathroom had a leaky shower 5. The dishwasher did not work. 6. The kettle was tiny, enough for just two cups of tea. 7. Not enough towels were provided initially. We received only two large and two small towels for four people, but more were provided upon request. ADVANTAGES of the apartment : 1. Location - excellent! Right in the heart of the tourist area, with everything within walking distance. 2. Comfortable beds - all beds were cosy and provided a good night's sleep. 3. Well equipped kitchen - there was a good supply of crockery ahd cutlery.

WE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE KEY AND THEY DIDN'T ANSWER THE PHONES TO HELP US. WE FOUND THE KEY DOWN NEXT TO THE DOOR TO ENTER INTO THE HOUSE. THE HOT WATER IS ONLY FOR 3 PEOPLE.

Big apartment in a central place in the city. Many bakeries and places for brunch in the neighborhood and very closed to metro station.

The dertiest apartment i've ever stayed . There was a bad smell like something was fried throughout the apartment. There were no windows because probably it used to be a shop or an office or something with totally different use , so that made the smell-problem even worse . There were also dirts in many spots on the floor and there were not enough towels and not shampoo-shower products at all . I take under consideration that the price was cheap but this should not be an excuse . The cleaning part in any accommodation type is not something negotiable for me and it should not have any relation with the price.

It is a central location but in one of the less desirable streets

This appartment looks to have been an old retail unit. It is long and thin. The four bedrooms all link into the central area - four very small rooms in one line off an open corridor. There are no windows and it does not feel secure. It is very dark and poorly lit, so quite a depressing place to be. We stayed out and slept there only. As there is only one door and no windows other than at the front there are no fire escapes. The front two rooms and living area are very noisy as they are next to the street, opening onto the pavement. The whole pace feels very un-loved and poorly maintained. It was dirty when we arrived, so we bought cleaning equipment to make it better, marginally so any way. We had to deal with the odd cockroach (kitchen and bathroom) that appeared to be coming through the walls from the chocolate lab next door. This was unpleasant and could be a growing problem. There is much about this place that could be so much better if the host cared, but that is not the case. Keys don’t work well as many other posts suggest, but that really is the least of the problems with this place. The place is ill equipped, the worst we have encountered. No frills at all, not even a single coffee pod. I am surprised they bother to supply toilet roll. It does not deserve the reducing scores it gets. Do not look at the pictures and think it is okay. These are hugely misleading. This appartment is in poor shape at best - these photos look like they were taken some years ago, when the place was first decked out. We seriously considered leaving it, losing the money and going somewhere else. If I had seen the cock roaches on day one rather than the penultimate day we would have done so. The living area is not big enough for 4 people let alone 8/9. Luckily we were just 2. I cannot stress enough how grotty this appartment is - the worst I have stayed in on this booking site. Please do not look at the scores and think it is good enough. It really is not. Go elsewhere.

Central location, walking distance from multiple restaurants, supermarkets and plazas. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds.

Opposite a large hostel, very noisy for guests sleeping in 2 front bedrooms. Noise levels was a challenge. Place much smaller than the images portray. No windows in the entire house, ground floor, so smokers need to smoke on the street, not ideal. Could not access the property for nearly 2 hrs after check in. When we accessed place hadn’t been cleaned yet, beds not made. When the owner was informed that we couldn’t access, just sent the access code, which we had but wasn’t working.
