Amazing location, very clean, easy to locate, quiet area but still very close to restaurants, port and beaches

After really good communication, we were met with a broad smile from Gianni. He enthusiastically showed us around the property and informed us about car parking, restaurants and places of interest. He even took me for a quick walk to show me where the closest shops were located. His partner and cousin Angelo owns a pasticcieria which is just down the street. They thoughtfully left a plate of fresh sweet treats on the kitchen table. The place is spacious, comfortable and has everything you may need for an extended stay. Large living room, large bathroom with washing machine, large comfortable bed, walk in robe and a dryer. The location is perfect, in the centro storico zone, 25 meters away from the main strip. We visited Angelo’s shop on many occasions and bumped into Gianni here and there, we had some terrific conversations and they both made us feel like we were relatives visiting. Great happy people.

As a solo traveler, I felt fortunate to have found this apartment. It was my ‘home sweet home’ for the two weeks I was in Monopoli. Here are my reasons: 1) Safety - while the apartment is mostly on ground level and directly on the street, the door was solid and adequately secured. I also say ‘mostly’ because for those with mobility concerns, know that the bathroom is 2 steps down. Comfort/Cleanliness - big clean apartment, a spacious shower(with non slip floor!) and heating units I controlled to my liking. Large, comfortable bed with hotel quality sheets. Strong WiFi connection in all the rooms. The apartment, like many buildings in the area, is of stone construction, soundproofed from outside noise, well lit but very few windows. Amenities - fairly well equipped kitchen with microwave and essential cookingwares, some toiletries, washer, hair dryer, 2 TVs. Location - I echo the other guests’ comments - perfect and near everything! Beware - many bakeries nearby. Finally, the Host - what can I tell you about Gianni? Just a genuinely wonderful person. Kind, informative, accommodating, promptly responds to your calls/messages. It was comforting that he checked up on me regularly thru WhatsApp, making sure everything is ok. He is an honest-to-goodness 24/7 Super Host!

It was beautifully converted, with all the modern amenities you would need. The location was excellent; it couldn’t be any closer to the heart of the old town. The host and his cousin (the owner, who happens to have the bakery at the end of the street) couldn’t have been more welcoming and we felt at home straight away.

There isn’t any outside space, but that just means we had to have coffee (or a drink) at a local bar/café.

Apartment is located in old town. There's a lot of restaurant around. The house is spacious, clean and quiet at night. Excellent location for visiting Monopoli, 15 min walk to train station, 10 min. walk to free parking and beaches are nearby. Very attentive host.

It was a spacious, well-equipped apartment in a fantastic location. The host was friendly and assisted with all our requests. I particularly enjoyed the spacious bathroom, the efficient air conditioning, and the large, cozy bed.

In such a climate, during the summer, be prepared for the likelihood of ants and constant dampness on the first floor of a stone house, but there's hardly anything one can do.

Fantastic location in the heart of the old town, close walking distance to the beach and the train station. Plenty of places nearby for food. The apartment was spacious, clean, had great facilities. Had a fantastic stay!
