USFirst I want to say the actual property was very nice, and the only reason why I did not rate it 1 out of 10. The only down side to it was the beds were not comfortable. I did enjoyed my stay at the house once I stopped encountering issues from the property's management company. I had three issues that occurred prior to or at check-in that will hinder me from booking with them in the future. Basically as nice as the house was, it was not worth the headache it took to enjoy it. I had to spend about 12 hours, over 6 days on numerous phone calls trying to fix and or figure out their "mistakes". My first issue, I booked this property with the assumption that it was pet friendly because that is how it was listed. However upon contacting them to pay the pet fee, they told me it was not a pet friendly property. After getting in touch with booking.com, countless phone calls and hours on the phone over 2 days, they agreed that I could bring my dog because they listed the property incorrectly. At this point I wasn't super upset because once in a while mistakes happen and they honored their original posting. So I ended up giving them my card info to pay the pet fee and we were good, or at least I thought! Until about a week later I seen they charged me for my pet fee and a few days later charged me the entire stay. Booking.com had already charged me $1681 and my stay was already paid in full. Now the property management company also charged me $1681. At this point I was frustrated, I had not even gone on vacation yet and I was already experiencing multiple issues with this booking. It made me very uneasy about even staying at the property. I have use booking.com for quite a few trips in the past and I have never experienced issues like this. So another 3 days of calls and plenty of my time wasted to get another "mistake" of theirs fixed. It seemed as though the property blew it off like it was no big deal.
