Great location however very noisey

The flat was super stylish, in a great location (although not easy to find, especially late in the evening - a bit worrying when travelling solo but I did not feel unsafe in Girona.) Having a coffee machine and the apartment kitchen was handy, although the recycling instructions weren’t clear.

Aside from the above (ease of finding and how to recycle) I was harassed with dozens of fraudulent messages (via booking.com), additional emails and whatsapp messages seeking to scam me out of personal data and additional payments due to Booking.com being hacked.

Keys had to be picked up in an alternate location - not convenient. Parking was very expensive and distant from apartment. Kitchen could use additional offerings - toaster, more utensils.

The flat is very cute and stylish. Looks like it has been recently remodeled. It has everything you need for a short stay and it’s in a great location.

Unfortunately, the noise is unbearable and they should’ve invested in double paned windows. The apartment is on the 1st floor, so you are almost at street level and can hear everything, even with the windows closed. The worst is the church bells which rings like every 30 minutes. Then the Sunday morning we were there, there was like a street fair or something so it was non-stop marching band starting at 8am… So really, the one thing you hope to get from a hotel/room - a good nights sleep, is pretty much impossible… Also the toilet was very high off the ground. I’m 180cm/5’11 and my feet were hanging off the toilet…
