Alamar apartment with pool in La Cala Ref 97

Very good location. 10 min walk from the sea & heart of the La Cala. Excellent restaurants nearby. Shops & pharmacies 5 min walk

Local people were shouting every night. Kids running around till 2am and screaming but otherwise no complaints

We didn’t end up staying at the apartment so nothing.

This apartment was falsely advertised, just under 24 hours before we were due to arrive (so that we couldn’t cancel) we was informed that the pool was not in use because of a national water ban. This was not the case we stayed somewhere 5minutes walk away that had their pool open and friends who live in the area also have their pools open (private and hotel/bars as they also tried to fob us off with a story about that) Staff have been incredibly difficult to arrange a refund and I’m still waiting! They clearly don’t communicate as I got messages every day asking me to collect the key box although I wasn’t there, we never stayed here and I would recommend to anybody else that there is much better (which was actually cheaper) accommodation within 5 minutes from this one! Avoid avoid avoid

The apartment was in a great location, was very clean and well equipped with a large balcony. The beds were very comfortable and bedrooms cool so had excellent nights sleep. Couple of minutes walk from Lidl supermarket which was handy and a short stroll to centre and beach. Sun beds provided for pool which was great. Overall a great stay.

My only complaint was lack of storage. Other than 2 small bedside cabinets there was no storage at all in main bedroom and very little in the other bedroom. For 4 adults this meant living out of suitcases which wasn’t ideal.

The location was fabulous. The apartment was clean, modern, and spacious. It was well stocked with utensils, cafetiere etc and we had a little pack of washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs etc to start us off. The terrace was large and had the morning sun on it. There was a rattan sofa and a table and four chairs. The grounds of the complex were beautiful, the pool area was lovely. There was a security guard and the complex felt overall very safe.

Upon arrival we had been told by the company managing the rental we would be met on arrival. Several phone calls later we were told the keys were in a box on a gate across the road and were sent a text with codes to access. Not a great start as were outside for approx 45mins trying to call the company. The apartment was advertised with a safety deposit box, this needed a key to open. We texted Sofia as the safety deposit box was locked. I did not get a reply. Never able to use all holiday. This apartment had 2 bedrooms; however, the main bedroom wardrobe was locked - we had to share the other wardrobe which if you were 2 couples would not be ideal going in to get your clothes. The main bedroom only had bedside drawers in it - there was nowhere to put clothes at all. The one usable wardrobe had children's car seats stored in there and bedding and blankets too. There were personal photos of children on the wall in the main bedroom which didn't seem appropriate.
