I like the location and the owner and her helper. The apartment needs a lot of tender loving care. Can’t complain much for what I paid for, but with several little details can be much better!

The view and the location

The view is spectacular, with both the Taal lake and Skyranch ferris wheel in full view. Location is ideal, but can be noisy since it's front of a bar/club until about 2 am. Smooth check-in with the helper. Security was tight around new faces and those with no guest cards. Fast elevators despite being in the 17th floor. Comfy bed and firm couches. Close to convenience stores, restos, and supermarkets all within 1km radius.

The unit is definitely dated, so don't expect a modern-hotel look. The unit also had something that smelled rotten whenever we opened the trash bin, which tells me the container itself isn't washed despite having new "plastic bags" inside. The door lock doesn't feel safe enough since it's obviously as old as the unit itself. A big deal for us, the lack of clothes hangers. Even the cabinet wasn't empty and filled with the house equipment, so we literally couldn't hang our clothes anywhere other than the chairs. A nitpick: for some reason, the dishrack is located on top of the fridge when it would have been more convenient and efficient if it was right beside the sink.
