Beach Bungalow No 13 - Salted Fynbos Staying

The location of the bangolow is amazing. Waking up to the most beautiful view of breaking waves out of the bedroom windows in the morning. The bungalow is nice and cozy, all you need for a getaway.

Nothing to mention

The view of the ocean is spectacular. An ample amount of firewood was provided. The bungalow was clean and the very nice blankets kept us warm during the cold nights. The big bathroom was comfortable.

The fireplace caused some smoke inside the bungalow. The gas heater for hot water did not work well. We had trouble while in the shower with hot water. Very small bedrooms. One of the mattresses was not comfortable. The ceiling had leaks at the entrance glass door and the fireplace. For the price we paid we expected some amenities such as coffee, tea and sugar for arrival.

Duvet and blanket in both rooms very thin, not enough to keep warm and blanket had a foul smell

Location is perfect! This cosy little home is everything you need to escape from how fast life can be and get and to get away from social media. Having the ocean right infront of you with the beauty of nature that surrounds you is beyond beautiful. This is definitely a destination where you can unwind and relax. The host was extremely friendly and responsive to any issues you highlight. Thank you Salted Fynbos Staying for making our stay so peaceful and welcoming

The location is perfect, and the unit is equipped with all the amenities one could need. It is truly an ideal weekend getaway or holiday destination. It is also quiet and peaceful.

The microwave oven is faulty—it didn’t warm the food. Additionally, the mattresses need upgrading, especially the one in the second bedroom, which is of very poor quality. This definitely needs to be addressed.

Location, location, location

Rustic - but as advertised. Nothing unexpected.
