The Hillside B&B. Home w/ Breakfast Service!

We had 3 generations of our family get together. The house is charming with a beautiful lake view and very well set up. Monica provided us with a fantastic breakfast every morning on our time schedule and tailored to what we wanted, best scrambled eggs ever!! We cooked our evening meals in. The kitchen is very well supplied and the dishwasher fit everything for easy clean up. Everything non food related was supplied, which was wonderful. The setting is perfect, close enough to attractions but removed enough to be relaxing. Our favorite times were gathered around the big dining table in the evenings playing games. The outdoor firepit and hammock were big hits. This property and owners are true treasures.

Monica has been a great host for us all. Her home is equipped with all the stuffs that we may need, may it be for cooking or just for relaxing. They have chess, monopoly, etc. The breakfast is also superb too. There’s even a coffee corner complete with tea, coffee and hot chocolate.

This could not have been a better experience! Monica was so wonderful, extremely welcoming, and such a joy to talk with. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of food, but not an overabundance where it would have gone to waste. The house is beautiful and comfortable. We had a large group with four generations, including an infant. There were plenty of beds and bedrooms - all comfortable. Decorations were beautiful and very tasteful. There were games for us to play. The sunrooms looked great, although it was a bit chilly in January to enjoy them. The ladies of our group spent the day time at Sundara Spa - it was a great walk each way, about 10 minutes. I can't speak to the TV as it was only on briefly, we spent most of the time enjoying the living room and the beautiful scenery. We cooked dinners, the kitchen has everything you could need - and a large refrigerator to hold food/leftovers.

Honestly, nothing. Everything was so great. I wish we could have stayed longer, I suppose that's the only thing I could think of! We're already planning another trip!
