#44 Plantation Village

The condo complex is immaculate, and has two pools and a laundry room. The condo itself was also quite clean. Air conditioning worked great. The screened-in balcony is a lovely place to have your morning coffee. It was nice having a full kitchen -- we got groceries at Fosters and ate several meals in the condo, saving money.) It's in a quiet area with zero street or neighbor noise, so we slept well! Parking is free, and was always available. The manager was responsive, making sure we got checked in okay and seeing if we needed anything. We appreciated that amenities like beach towels, shampoo and body wash, toilet paper and paper towel, and coffee filters were provided, as well as all the kitchen items so we could cook simple meals. The location is within walking distance to lots of restaurants (we enjoyed Coconut Joe's, Peppers, Cimboco, and Ms. Piper's). We would definitely stay here again!

The beach directly in front of the complex is eroded and small. Luckily, we had a car, so we were able to drive up to Public Beach and Governors Beach. You'll want a rental car anyway to explore the whole island. It would be cool if beach chairs were provided. Public Beach only rents them out on days that cruise ships are in port (and you probably don't want to be there then), but at least there are shaded cabanas where you can leave your stuff. Governors Beach also doesn't rent chairs.

Nice location and size. Very clean (except for bedding)

The bedroom sheets and pillow cases were either dirty or stained. Bed Pillows could use updating.
