Central location and can use road #10 to avoid one of the more expensive subsea tunnels if you don't have a tunnel pass from the car rental company. The subsea tunnel to Torshavn and Klaksvik is very close. Container is roomy for one or two people. Kitchen had the necessary equipment to cook meals, equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine (did not use). There is a grocery store and a gas station in town.

Bed linen and sheets were not replaced. The bed linens in the bigger room had hairs on both pillows so I chose to sleep in the smaller room and everything didn't smell fresh (sweat). Mattress was a thin topper covered with a flat sheet, which did not stay in place. The bathroom had a strange odor and the sink had a leak. When using water, it was on the floor. Someone didn't flush the toilet (had urine in it) and a piece of hair on toilet seat upon check in. Overall, it did not feel clean or cozy. Rain water leaked through the front door onto the floor. Unit had a lot of condensation and required opening windows, which would not be pleasant in colder weather. Poor insulation. Bring earplugs to block the noise from rain hitting on roof, neighbors and trucks/buses leaving early.

Grannens avlopp pumpades ut över vår entretrappa. När grannen varit på toa fick man hoppa kvickt. Avloppsvattnet rann vidare ut på hamnplan. Överfulla soptunnor. Kraftige rökande tidigare gäst hade tömt alla sina fimpar utanför vår entrédörr. Färöarnas förmodligen minst charmiga utsikt och läge.

The container has a lot of facilites.

The container is in a parking in a harbour with trucks and heart machine. The rain enters from the door. In Stendur there s just a grocery. The materass isn t confortable.
