"Wonderful, comfy and homey. Will be returning when in Barnsley!"

From the minute I walked through the door, it felt like a home and I felt welcome. It was such a calming space and the extra touches of snacks and treats were unbelievably kind and very much needed after a long travel to get there!

The only comment I can make is that the electric shower wasn't very powerful and took me a while to work out how to work the temperature as it was either scalding hot or freezing. However once I worked it out, it was fine.

This is our second time staying with this host as it’s brilliant value for money. They always go the extra mile with thoughtful touches like chocolate and wine, which make our stay feel comfortable and homely. Highly recommended!

Key was in an lock box

We weren't sent an email with the lock box code but had a phone number for the owner so we phoned them and were given the code and got straight in

"Wow"

Absolutely 10+ for everything. Starting with hosts, so friendly and welcoming, position of the house which is 3 min walking away from town centre and shops, cleanliness was wow, house was absolutely spotless and the decor is so cosy. Price wasn't bad at all for 9 nights, the hotel near there charged us over 1k for the same amount of nights. We couldn't have asked for anything more and is a definitely coming back as our daughter and her family lives in barnsley. Thank you again Shelley,Stan and Brad for your hospitality and caring so much about us. See you soon, Mirco and Cinzia.

Location; spotlessly clean; welcome pack including milk, bread,tea, biscuits, prosecco above and beyond

Minor issues that would be simple to sort like lumpy mattress; shower not working; internet and smart TV connection dodgy

Good location for town and local attractions. The house is spotlessly clean. There are lots of thoughtful extras; such as savoury snacks, sweets, tea, coffee and alcohol. The owners really try to cover all bases and make the stay as pleasant as possible.

Nothing to dislike.
