"THE HARVEY's" - 18 Lynnwood Estate, Plettenberg Bay

The location is beautiful, quiet and the seperate entrance was a great idea. Room was nice enough.

There was no one to greet/welcome me when I arrived and show me the room, which made locating my room a lot more confusing and take longer than it had to. The room itself was nice enough but it was EXTREMELY HOT! The aircon did not blow cold air at all and I spent the weekend either sweating or having to sleep with the door open; and because I didnt know anyone was home (see the lack of welcome above) I couldn't call and ask someone to fix it. The room could have used a clean. There were spiders with spider webs in almost evey corner of the room, bathroom and on the ceiling; the shower wasn't properly cleaned and neither was the glasswear provided. Not to mention the MANY dead mosquitoes (WITH THEIR BLOOD!) on the blinds behind the curtain.

Emplacement parfait surtout pour les golfeurs. Catherine, l’hôtesse est très accueillante et la chambre n’ayant pas été occupée nous avons pu laisser nos affaire vers 12h. La salle de bains est parfaite, la chambre très lumineuse, accès facile par le jardin. Lieu très sécurisé. Café, thé et petits gâteaux à disposition. Pas de petit déjeuner mais 2 possibilités à 5 mn en voiture.

Petit débit du wifi. Pas très grave 😁

The Harvey's was ideally situated for our stay as it was so close to the Goose Valley Clubhouse. The Clubhouse breakfasts were excellent and we can highly recommend them. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and everything you could wish for was there. Darrell even made available a golf cart for our use! We would highly recommend The Harvey's and hope we can stay there again on our next visit to Plett.
