The actualy house and grounds are excellent. Great swimming pool, small kitchen with pots and pans etc, two bathrooms and three bedrooms. The location is quiet and really close to the beach. The veranda with the dining area is awesome! The agency staff that treated us was a bit lost but very kind. They even let us stay later on checkout day.

First of all, the information on booking is not the same as the information given by the agency: - sheets and towels ARE provided (booking says no). There are no pool towels, though - the deposit is 400€ in cash (booking says 300€) These are significant differences. Then: - the owner apparently insists on providing sheets and towels, against the agency’s recommendation. We suggest that the owner changes their mind. Our sheets were not suitable: two of the three beds had no fitted sheets; one of the remaining ones was incredibly dirty (stains, hair, hairs). We asked the agency for help and the next day a woman showed up (a friend of the owner’s, they told us) who spoke no english, spanish or catalan. Communication was difficult. She gave us duvet covers instead of fitted sheets because there were none. - the house must have been inhabited by cats and not cleaned well enough - communication with the agency was kind and compassionate but difficult. We appreciated the woman who treated us but didn’t like some of the agency’s policies. We realise that a new law recently came out, but we were asked to send photos of our IDs, which is illegal. Further chaos ensued as we had to find many other details to successfully checkin. We suggest a more secure and efficient way of collecting data, that only asks for the information legally required. There are cameras in the house. Even in the bedrooms. We were not told, and when we noticed, we were assured they were off and not connected. This is not enough: they need to be removed or physically covered so we know we’re not being watched.
