Stayed here many many times ..the host is brilliant and the accommodation is top

Absolutely nothing

The first time I had used Booking.com and found Grasmere Lodge straight away. We liked the photos of the inside and it was in the right location for us. We arrived just after 1700 hrs and we were "wowed" by the accommodation once inside. Clean, tidy, all in very good order. It was quite on the chilly side when we arrived, but having turned the heating on it was warm within 20 - 30 minutes. We felt very much at home and at ease. We got a take away from Classic Pizza, which was good, and popped to the Sainsbury's Local for breakfast items and fresh milk. The beds were perfectly comfortable, the shower hot and plenty powerful enough. That kitchen tap is a little fierce and the angle of the water jet catches you out! We all slept well, had breakfast and departed by 0950. It all worked perfectly, the instructions were spot on, so easy to book and we all loved it. Well done!

To be honest, I cannot really fault anything. The kitchen tap caught all three of us out, but we laughed about it, rather than it being irritating. I did spot a couple of cobwebs, but they did look very recent, as in not dust covered and didn't bother me, I don't think my wife or daughter even spotted them
