SPITAKI - A hidden gem

Everything was great, good amount of space and a nice bathroom with spacious shower. Host was excellent and very helpful. Would def recommend🙂

A top location close to the old city center. Very clean and with all the necessary utilities. The very welcoming host reacted very quickly to our questions and gave us useful information about restaurants and the surroundings of the city. We will return with great pleasure.

Where to begin? We had such a wonderful time staying in Chania and Spitaki - the host Taso couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming! He gave us brilliant recommendations and went out of his way to make our visit run smoothly. The room was perfect for my mother and me and so well-positioned to explore the old town one direction, and go for a quick dip in the sea the other direction. It’s very easy to get buses to slightly nicer beaches west along the coast from Spitaki too. The room is well stocked with all the basics you need, and we really appreciated the honey and fruit - it was lovely with some proper yoghurt we got from the great local supermarket. We were there during a heatwave in June and the AC was a real life saver to help us cool off! You won’t regret staying here.

Cute and comfortable and only a few steps from the beautiful historic centre of Chania. It’s really a hidden gem.

Perfect location, super clean!! And a very nice host

The host was flexible and helpful for our arrival arrangement. When we arrived, they asked first if we had an umbrella as rain was drizzling - so warm hearted! The facility was clean with a modern bathroom and the main roon was cozy with a delicate, hip touch of greek decoration. I recommend here for 20-30s travellers looking for a modern, but not boring, and stylish acommodation!

First of all I want to thank the owner Tasos for all his help. You could reach out to him for any question. He also provided a lot of suggestions definitely very useful! The location is super good, everything is within walking distance. The beach area is clean as well as the water, it was around a 8 min walk away. There are many stores nearby both for food and clothing, including well-known brands such as Zara, Stradivarius,... they are literally just around the corner. You are in the City Center and Old Town within 5 minutes. It is very beautiful there are lots of delicious restaurants food is certainly not a problem. Also for Muslim people like myself, there are Halal and vegan options but also plenty of choices besides that. The home is clean and hygienic, Tasos filled the house with all the necessities it felt like home super cozy. The A/C and wifi works great! The ceiling is very high which makes it not stuffy. This has been my first time in Greece but I will definitely go there again. Chania is beautiful and authentic. It is a perfect combination for a city-beach vacation. Strongly recommended!

The terrace is shared but the other side is also a studio rented to tourists. They have their own little terrace there's just no fence in between. For me this was not disturbing at all it was also pleasant to have a chat. I spent each night sitting in the terrace and enjoying the pretty stars and sky.

The owner has put lots of care into details that make the “little house” very comfortable and a great home from home.
