How quiet and safe the area is. The small shop and bus stop is on the doorstep. The parking at the door. The interior decor was unique, and lots of plants were in pots inside. Milk and all the extras available on arrival. Heating was great especially in December. Fire sticks for both televisions. Plenty of good quality toiletries.

Plants encouraged small flies. But not a big problem. Would suggest bringing your own soft fluffy towels.

Location is excellent. A short walk from a good bus service in to the city centre. Very clean accommodation. Had everything we needed.

The second bedroom duvet is very small. Fine for one person but not for two. The oven settings are worn away, so tricky to see what you’ve set it to.

Great location! Was only a 10 minute drive into the center or a 20 minute bus in, had absolutely no problems getting in or out :) Ellen’s place was super clean and had plenty of amenities, immensely appreciated the fresh milk in the fridge as well. We originally booked to stay with our dogs, but last minute change of plans resulted in the decision to leave them at home, but seeing a bag of dog treats on the table as we walked in was incredibly thoughtful :)

Such an amazing homely vibe to the house. The kitchen and every thing was stocked for guests to use. I just stayed for a night but would have loved to stay longer.

Could hear everything outside the house and the remote location. It was quite a drive from the central.

The property was lovely and clean and in a great location for us. Parking was available right out side and the local buses into Edinburgh was a 2 minute walk to the bus stop. There are some local shops less than a minute walk for some milk and few bits and large supermarkets 5-10 minute drive. There was a small tv there but didn’t try it because we wasn’t there to watch tv we went sightseeing. Great communication with the key location and was ready for us when we arrived.

The other adult and teenager wasn’t happy with the single beds.

The apartment was very clean and had plenty of room Great to have a washing machine. The couch was large and comfortable.

The beds were very uncomfortable. The single beds are foam mattresses for children not for adults.. The double bed had a better mattress but very soft and not suitable for anyone with back issues. Two days later, both of us are struggling to move with sore backs. Also a computer screen was used for a TV. Three days accommodation without being able to relax on a couch and watch a decent screen TV.
