I recently stayed at this property, advertised on Booking.com as a luxury homestay. While the photos on the listing matched the property, it became evident upon arrival that this was not a private homestay but rather a shared luxury hostel. As two female travelers who flew across the globe to attend a friend’s wedding, we felt deeply uncomfortable and unsafe during our stay. Key Issues: 1. Misleading Advertisement: The property was marketed as a luxury homestay but turned out to be a shared accommodation. During our stay, we encountered multiple male occupants, including a young male caretaker. To our surprise, we noticed the caretaker used the common living area as his bedroom, sleeping on the floor at night. His presence 24/7 in the shared space made it uncomfortable for us as women to move freely. Basic amenities like tea and coffee were not readily available, and we had to repeatedly ask the caretaker for assistance, which was both inconvenient and unprofessional for a property advertised as luxurious. 2. Safety and Privacy Concerns: As two female travelers, we felt unsafe in an environment where male occupants, including the host, were frequently present in the shared spaces. The host was often seated in the living or dining area working on his laptop, which added to the lack of privacy. 3. Unprofessional Handling of a Misplaced Key: During our stay, we misplaced the property key and immediately informed the host. He agreed to wait until the next day for us to return it. However, while we were attending our friend’s wedding, the host repeatedly called and sent messages to both me and my friend. His tone escalated to harassment, with threats of involving the police and filing a case against us, despite the prior agreement. When I finally managed to call him back, the host admitted to overreacting and apologized, explaining that personal family issues had affected his behavior.

The ambience was beautiful and it was calming. Everything was just beautiful and worth the price.

One of the best property in heart of the city, the host was too good and very accommodating. The best part is the place and surroundings. Just few blocks away from rameshwaram cafe.

I loved everything about this place. Amazing is not the word. The most luxurious stay ever. Loved everything. Its huge and it's 10 times better than shown in pictures. Loved it and the host was super gracious. Loved the location as well. Its on the main road.

No cons at all.

I like the location. The area is so posh and loved the vibe around the location.
