Cozy 1 bed Urban Haven

The accommodation was compact & Bijou perfect for a couple of nights whilst visiting over the festive period, easy to find & in a very nice location, nice treats left for us on arrival, chocolates sweets, coffee, Roberto Cavalli toiletries, the property felt very newly finished all furnishings & paintwork very fresh & tidy.

This is not a criticism just constructive feedback from my own experience & certainly didn't hinder our stay: On Entry a door mat (& maybe a shoe basket) to capture the wet & any debris even though we took our shoes off at the door there had been heavy rain & winds & we didn't want to mark the carpet. Could of done with a hook on the back of the bathroom door to hang dressing gown etc, a mirror in the bathroom for shaving etc A bin near the coffee/tea making area & rail to hang clothes maybe in one of the dormers, like I say we had a great stay, these additional things would be the cherry on top for me :)

The room was decorated loverly

The matress was uncomfortable, springy, really could of done with a king size bed, bathroom sink was so small difficult to brush your teeth ,

It was clean, tidy and really comfortable. Perfect for what I needed.

Ceilings were low for someone like myself, who is over 6 feet tall. Got woken up by an alarm early hours. Kept me awake and I had to be up for work the next morning. That's the only gripe I have.

Communication with the hosts was quick and easy. The room temperature was good.

The room should have been cleaner, dirty stains, hair , contact lenses and muck on the floor and stained bedside table. No toiletries not even soap, you expect this in a room that you book so don't bring my own. 1 towel supplied in a room booked for 2 people, when I asked for more towels they said that they would bring another bath towel, I had to ask again for hand towels, & they then supplied 1 hand towel. No mirror in the bathroom and no shelves to put tooth brush, tooth paste or a toiletry bag on. There was tea & coffee supplied but no milk ! There is a toaster & a microwave but no room to prepare any food and no fridge. There was a bag of dirty laundry in the corner of the room & a hover. There is very limited standing space in the room , I would estimate less than 20% of the total ceiling area was above the required minimum height of 2.3 meters. Don't know how this got accepted by building regulations as habitable, let alone for commercial use. Parking is on a busy road outside the property, just after a curve in the road, with 2 wheels on the pavement making it an obstacle for passing pedestrians. This should be made clear when booking rather than being described as "Free Parking".

No Normal tv channels Felt like I was lodging next to someone's house loud noises and voices from garage below room

Funny sewers smell when plug air freshener wasn't on. No milk or sugar for cup.of tea
