Can feel the bed springs needs a new mattress

It was cosy and warm, the bedding was clean and we slept well. It was great value.

The bathroom wasn’t very clean. The shower may have been clean but didn’t look inviting to use as there were stains all around the basin. There was pink cleaning product spilt over the floor in the bathroom. The glassware provided wasn’t clean and one of the towels in the bathroom we found on the floor. There was nowhere to hang anything in either the bedroom or bathroom. There was also no surface to place anything in the bathroom. There was a kettle provided which was great but it was a challenge to fill as the sink in the bathroom is so tiny and the tap is not high enough to fit anything beneath it. It appears initially that it’s nice but in practicality there is a lack of thought that has been put in. Some upgrading is definitely necessary.

On arrival I was not sure how to access as gated drive, but once spoken to host, all was made clear and I will know for next time. The Room was lovely and cosy and warm and wonderfully decorated with tasteful Christmas decorations which was a lovely touch together with Cracker and chocolate. Thank you. The bed was really comfy and I loved the soft bottom sheet.

I was a little concerned that my car was parked outside the property (not knowing the area) but it was fine. Just to point out that the Stairs to the property are a little steep but I found them ok. So not much to not like here!!

The room was so warm and cosy - all the little extra touches with décor and chocs on bed were a lovely welcome. The area felt very safe and as the unit was separate from the house, you didn't feel intrusive.

Just a suggestion - not what I didn't like really, but a bottle of water would have been welcome to fill the kettle/ drink, as the bathroom sink is small and you have to fill a cup first to pour into kettle. Also sachets/pods of milk to make tea (as all variety of coffee and t-bags were provided) would have been a nice extra touch.
