Close To Nature & City

Host was very welcoming. Off-street parking.

It was a little haven! The most comfortable little place, better than its description as it has a full kitchen. It has off road parking, it is right on a bus route which we loved! So convenient and easy to get around. It is opposite the bush, lots of trails and the birdsong was incredible. Oh, and the comfiest bed we’ve ever slept in!

Nothing, it was perfect.

Location, location ideal. Proximity to other family members living in Wellington. Access to nature reserves. Off road parking appreciated. Friendly welcoming host.

Very private, tidy and homely. Location was nice and quiet and not too far from the CBD & Airport.

Only dislike is that I didn’t book it for longer - property felt like a second home away from home plus May was an excellent host.

Comfortable bed with really nice sheets. Very clean throughout. Lots of little extra touches throughout. I loved hearing the Tuis and other bird song. And a more pork at night. Beautiful garden. Very cosy apartment. May is a wonderful host.

There was no TV but I had my laptop with me because I knew from reading the description on the website. There is really nothing to dislike about this property.

May was such a lovely hostess and was helpful towards us in ways that only a kind person could be. The little unit looked directly across to a wonderful bush view of the Otari-Wilton's Bush, which we could simply walk across the road to enjoy the walking tracks there. May has a beautiful, well-kept cottage garden on a sloping hill with parking at the bottom of the garden off the road. The unit was just the right size for two people... and had a pull out sofa bed as well if you needed another bed. Very close to various attractions, and the local supermarket was less than 5 minutes up the road. Certainly, I would keep this place as one to revisit next time I need to stay in Wellington!! Highly recommend to anyone 👌

The host was so lovely! She even checked on us if we needed help with anything. The facilities were perfect! And location amazing scenery!!

The closeness to Zealandia and local birdlife was amazing. May was/is an amazing host, leaving a hand written card to welcome me, and even giving up her carport so I could charge my EV.

If I really have to be critical, getting woken up at 5am by the birds singing was the one thing. Then again, I'd had a late night at a friend's wedding, so was looking forward to a sleep in. Definitely a first world problem.
