Ocean Bungalow Villa - AnBang Beach - Hoi An

The housekeeper was very friendly and informed us about all of the features of the house. I was very pleasantly surprised after reading other reviews here. It is obviously an old house and a little bit of upkeep wouldn't do any harm, but our stay was ideal. Will return for sure. Great location, a charming house and a wonderful host.

There is construction on the same street, but this is why you travel with earplugs in Vietnam anyway. A little bit of maintenance on the house would be great, but there are no major issues.

The location is nice , near to restaurants and An Bang Beach but this is the only thing we liked ...

The behaviour and very poor communication from the owner ( she was supposed to book a additional room for us the second night of our stay for my son as agreed with her by written message in february but she didn t ) if we knew in advance that the villa will be shared with other guests , we would have cancelled ... She was even not recognizing that she lied to us and proposed us to find a room for my son in the neighborhood (meaning he had to sleep without us in an other place !!) No communication in english at all , no welcome at all , the rooms were not ready when we arrived and the house was not clean , there was also a big water leakage just at the front door coming from one bathroom upstairs Electrical sockets are very difficult or impossible to use and you can hear the noise from the guests in other rooms like if you were in ... walls are like paper ! On the first night , the last room was occupied by 4 adults staying in a room of 2 people with one bed only and 2 matresses ( see enclosed picture !! ) these guests stayed until midnight in front of our room drinking and laughing loadly with no respect at all for other guests Quality of breakfast is very very poor , the worst i had in Vietnam since my 6 years living in the country (see pictures of my eggs !! ) With all that , i lost precious time to google translate the chats from the owner and we decided to leave this place after one night for another hotel nearby, not possible to stay one more night with my son on a poor 5cm extra mattress on the floor Even if finally the owner kindly offered the night for my family and just claim the payment for the other family room occupied by our friends , this experience seriously impacted our short week end and I unfortunately cannot forgive the lack of communication and professionalism If anyway you still want to book the whole villa , please make sure it is not shared with other guests ...

Great location very close to the beach and close to the main road. All amenities worked well. The housekeeper was very kind and served breakfast each morning with locally sourced food and fruits. Very pleasant stay.
