Casa del Mare e Relax - close to the Airport

If I can add one more "0" to "10" points it will be the right number. Absolutely stunning house, great view on the sea. There are everything you need. On the embankment along the seashore there are many restaurants. On the main street, about 10 min walk, there are supermarkets, butcher's and bakeries. It's about 5 min to Bari by car and 15 min by train (the railway station is only about 10 min away on foot). The train tickets are really cheap. Small snacks were waiting for us when we arrived: tomatoes and olive oil from the own production (you can buy it too as a present in a nice ceramic bottle from the owners), limonchello and fruit etc. The owners are the kindest and nicest people I've ever met. We will definitely come back again!

Casa del Mare e Relax lived up to its name we had an absolutely relaxing stay. The closeness of the sea added to the experience. The building is very typical structure of Southern Italy, a beautifully maintained stone house with all the comforts of modern life. During our stay it rained a lot but the house stayed warm thanks to the heating system and AC units. I would absolutely recommend visiting even during the colder months. The apartment is beautiful, all the furniture and decor speak of their owner’s refined taste. Gaetano is a superb host, he went above and beyond to accommodate to all our needs. I never met a host so responsive and kind, he will guide you through your stay and tell you all about the town and the nearby area. You will find supermarkets, restaurants, bars and other stores in close proximity to the house, Santo Spirito is ver much walkable. Mind the opening hours tho, Italian opening hours tend to be very different so better phone first. The sea is a 2 minutes walk away. The area is safe, even for solo travelers or kids. When it comes to the apartment, we specifically loved the super comfortable bed and the fully equipped kitchen. Gaetano even prepared some snacks for us. We left feeling happy and content, definitely will be back.

There was nothing we didn’t like

The two brothers met us when we arrived and had a bottle of Prosecco for us after a long 11 hour ferry was so nice. Fresh olive oil that there family makes, the best tomatoes I’ve ever had and made bruschetta and limoncello oh yes and goodies in the fridge and pasta they recommended if we wanted to cook. They were so accommodating and friendly
