"Updated" is a stretched terminology used. More like a very superficial makeover would have enjoyed beach chairs. furniture was positioned where it was difficult watching tv on the couch having to drop off towels to collect the cards was cumbersome since beach hut has limited hours esp with certain flight times.

Loved Kauai and would go back but not to this location shows it 40 year old age.

Mgmt never sent a access code email for arrival. Unit is closest to road not near central gardens, lawns or ocean. Built in 1978 and shows age. Road Noise, no windows to block sound just wood louvers over screens. Could here upstairs unit walking 24/7 The floors, cabinets, wall paint, tvs upgraded. Some furniture ok. MIcrowave upgraded Stove is old Chair old, cushions dirty. Bathtub has mold in corners at joints, large worn area where you stand. Light blinking over tub Mgmt fixed next day. Patio furniture worn like it was 20 years old. Patio railing has bird poop, granted there are birds there but could clean occasionally. Condo is generally wipe down clean, over head fan is white but has dust buildup on leading edge, dirty. I would say overall was a 3

It was updated (not as recently as they would have you believe), but nice overall. Some oddities, such as a microwave placed 6’ high and a hidden garbage disposal switch (we couldn’t find it).

Location is by Poipu Rd., not in the center of the complex as indicated by the booking.com unit pin. Make sure you get an actual complex map to see its location. Also, it’s up a flight of stairs, not a problem for us, but could be for someone with difficulties.

We love the Kiahuna Plantation property. We used to own a unit here decades ago and it continues to be our favorite spot. The unit’s kitchen was nicely furnished with everything we needed. The salt, pepper and oil were a very nice addition.

We didn’t like the “starter package” toilet paper that was supposed to get us through a 2 week stay. That we found was simply ridiculous. Really? One extra roll of TP for a 2 week stay, and no Kleenex. Do you even have any idea how hard it is to find a 4 pack of TP? We tried to get more from staff on property but when they found out what unit we were in no one even wanted to talk with us. I don’t know if it’s a management issue but not cool. The other thing about this unit is it wasn’t really clean. We found a tip of someone’s painted fingernail, bathroom floor wasn’t clean and the coffee table needs a good vacuum!! Loads of dirt and crumbs in the sides. Torn busted up pillow on the lanai furniture. The bathroom light flashed like a strobe light until it warmed up which took a good 20 minutes to stop. That light made me dizzy so we kept it on a lot more which wasted electricity. It’s a nice unit but needs to be cleaned better and up your TP ratio for longer stays please. That really is absurd. If we would have known the “starter pack “ policy prior to coming we would have packed TP. It’s just hard to find…

The location was perfect and close to all our planned activities. Having Poipu Beach access just footsteps away was incredible! The condo was clean, spacious (for two people), and got a lot of beautiful natural light. The staff was friendly and super attentive to our needs. I would stay here again when back in Kauai.

I didn't know l would not have access to the Athletic Beach Club on day of check out. Seems it would have been reasonable to at least have access to that facility until at least 10 am on the day of check out.

The condo was clean and the property manager was very friendly. The location was very central and so it made traveling around very easy. The bed was also very comfortable.

As there are no sidewalks outside of the property, it made walking around to nearby areas a bit tricky with a stroller.
