Feruzkhan Hotel - Madrassah Mohammed Rakhim Khan 1871

Very cool experience staying in the converted madrassah in an amazing and atmospheric location. There was actually someone taking a tourist photo of the exterior stairs when I arrived, it's that cool. I think I would prefer this to larger more famous madrassah stay in terms of quiet atmosphere. The courtyard is a little calm oasis. Rooms were perfectly comfortable with a mini-fridge and strong AC.

Sorry, but they really dropped the ball on airport transportation. I messaged them as soon as I booked (weeks out) saying I'd like to be picked up in Urgench. I got a quote ($15) which I accepted and then repeatedly messaged them trying to confirm, including the morning of. Of course, I land and no one was there. I couldn't get a phone signal at the airport to order a Yandex so had to go with a taxi who overcharged me (an extra $5 so not so bad). Don't offer airport pickup services if you don't follow through.

天井の低い部分が構造上1ｍくらい長く続くので、 部屋の出入りや宿の出入りに注意が必要です。

Great location, quiet room, fantastic building. They gave us a late check-out (5pm) which helped. Paid by credit card with no surcharge.

Sheets don't quite fit the bed. But that's minor. I would happily stay here again.
