Stunning Private room in a Home - TV, Bathroom & Parking!

The property was just what I needed for my short stay. There were interesting outdoor facilities nearby such as a park and a river. There was free WiFi access and the host was very hospitable, making an effort to check in on how I was doing throughout the stay.

The house was absolutely beautiful. Extremely clean. Lovely little area. Bedroom door has a lock and bed very comfortable. Lovely garden and neighbours. Quiet little neighbourhood, small river round the corner which was a lovely walk.

It was not disclosed fully on booking that this was a males home, and he would be staying there . My daughter felt extremely uncomfortable although he was friendly and only met once , we could still hear him and knew he was in a room beside us. I feel that this information is valuable especially for women as I would have chosen elsewhere so my daughter felt comfortable. We only found out when we pulled up to the property it was a male and only found out he would be at home our stay the night before travelling 4.5 hours when it was too late to change . (Although only knew it was a male when we pulled up outside) . I thought this was a little apartment type separate and not someone's real home or I would've opted to stay with family a 20 minute drive Away . Personally would only change the information so others are aware as 'booking' doesn't disclose any of this. It was very brief when booking.

Apart from check in, everything was fantastic. 5 min walk along the river to a bus stop for Manchester City centre.

I had to wait outside for 45 minutes until someone arrived to let me in. A key safe would be more practical.
