The apartment was amazing and the location was fantastic. Gandia is a great place for a family holiday and everyone is so friendly. Anabel, our host, was very attentive and could not do enough to help us and check that we were enjoying our stay. The town and beachfront has lots of lovely restaurants and cafes and was lively enough in the evening without being too noisy. The location is perfect to drive from Alicante airport and only 50 minutes from Valencia, which is a stunning city. The beach has to be one of the best I have been to and the lifeguards make it feel very safe. The swimming pool at the apartment was amazing, also with a lifeguard, and the pictures on the apartment advert did not do it justice. The apartment had all the necessary facilities and equipment and was impeccably clean. We always looked forward to breakfast on the amazing balcony! Well done Anabel, we will definitely be back!!

Having to go home!

I simply loved my 3 night stay here. The apartment is completely renovated and nicely decorated and the very large terrace offers stunning views of the beach and the sea right in front. I could spend the whole day on the comfortable couch on the terrace enjoying the views and the people passing by. The location is very central, close to all the restaurants and bars in Gandia. What I liked in particular is that everything in the place was brand new (no smelly old grandmother's furniture as in some other places!). The living room was not huge but more than large enough and the wifi connection was excellent. The bathroom was small but new, very clean, and comfortable, with a good shower. The matress in the large bed in the main bedroom was comfortable, and there was ample storage space (as in the second bedroom). The kitchen was well equipped with lots of pots and pans and cutlery and cups and plates, and I gladly made use of the washing machine. There is a safe and covered parking space on the ground floor for the car as well, which was much appreciated. And there are blinds that keep out the heat in summer time as well as airco. The owners are very friendly and communicative. I would really recommend this place.

Nothing to dislike, really. I would perhaps have liked to have some oil and salt and sugar as basics in the kitchen, but that is only a verrrrry minor thing.
