Host & Stay - Bressingham Lodge

Lovely spacious house and gardens. The property was very well equipped with everything you needed for a long weekend. The garden was an adventure playground for our young grandchildren.

The stay was fine. However ruined by lose and dangerous bricks outside leading to the garden. 2 of our party injured themselves sadly . Host and stay who rent the property have not taken the complaint seriously and if I’m being honest if was the owner the property I would be pulling it from host and stay. The house is good. But you can’t have dangerous steps and bricks leading to outside. It’s not good enough for the money paid.

Amazing house, tasteful decor, beautiful grounds, Fantastic provisions, bedding and supplies left for guests Facilities excellent inc. Outhouse and fire Cosy, welcoming, lots to look at. We will book again, can't wait to return

Leak in downstairs loo but it's an old house, and was a torrential downpour...quirks to be expected. Did not cause any major issues. Difficult to find on busy main road, perhaps a sign outside the entrance would help Should provide some of the book instructions, eg. for check out, in an email in case it isn't seen in the house.

Facilities were excellent. The children loved the space, beds and super garden. Lovely area.

Difficult to control heating system, often very cold.

We had an amazing week stay at Bressingham Lodge, with three generations of our family, everything from cooking equipment to games, puzzles and garden games/toys for all ages was superb, even had great knives (although i always travel with mine), was a treat to cook on an Aga which is what i grow up with so was very nostalgic for me, the garden and grounds are beautiful our dogs and small granddaughters loved it, the play treehouse and slide was great, the garden room complete with firepit was great for toasting giant marshmallows is a great addition, would highly recommend a stay at the Lodge we are very much hoping to return during the winter months.

A beautiful house in a great location, a perfect spot for a friends (or family) retreat with a vast garden, wonderful communal spaces and bedrooms.
