1. The toilet was out of order in that it had no water supply. It was twice reported, but without success, before we resorted to manually filling it up ourselves. 2. Chicken roosters in the neighbourhood crowing through the night.

I liked the owner and the central location

To be honest, there was a lack of attention to detail and I feel there is so many little things that could be done to make this place feel more special. The price we are paying here is not cheap at all - you expect a littttle bit of luxury. There was not even a braai dish in the kitchen. There were no comfy deck chairs - such a small thing!! The bushes were overgrown by the deck so you had zero view - you knew the most amazing view was right there but you couldnt see it. Such a waste.

The views were absolutely incredible. The setup was wonderful. We adored braaing in the tops of the trees.

I wish I'd read how far it was to trek up to the nest. Self catering was hard up the path. And the shower pressure was really not good at all.
