The Vines - Gibbston

It was amidst the vines & a stone throw away from other popular vineyards. The mountain backdrop is amazing. It is so peaceful & serene.

Beautiful location, not too far away from Arrowtown. Comfy bed and beautiful bathroom facilities. Cool, cosy vibe, great for a one nighter.

There's thin bits of paper bluetacked to the windows for privacy in the bathroom- they don't cover the whole window and are not opaque so you can see right into the bathroom. Though its private property and I don't anyone is looking in, it still made it less comfortable. The heating is centrally controlled and for the life of us, we couldn't figure it out- though we didn't contact the host- that's on us. We could hear the hosts through the connecting door- which made it tricky to put our bub to sleep. There's no TV in the main lounge, only the bedroom. This might not be an issue for people, but when you have a bub it makes the layout a bit tricky.

Very comfy bed, warm, good shower, quiet, out of town

Perfect for busy days and coming back to sleep in the very comfy bed. Knew it wasnt a self catering unit which was fine for us, but a bit of workspace for making a sandwich or building the cheese platter would make the space more user friendly.

Great setting amongst the vines. Good location for viewing the stars on a clear night. Blankets for sitting out to watch them provided.

Very clean and spacious. Good host with good communication.

Unfortunately a lot of bugs and flies in the washroom and a little in the bedroom.

Our 2 night stay was great! It’s a room in their home but it’s separate entrance and private so that’s all we needed.

No kitchen facilities but that was fine for the nature of our travels and short stay.
