Houston Gem Walk to Dine & Shop

I arrived early, so they let me check in before 3 with no problem, and instantly as well. It was very quiet and clean. Right next to a Walmart, and other restaurants so you could just walk if you wanted to. The washer and dryer were a plus, so I didn't need to find a laundry mat or put my swimsuit in the sun to dry. It's on the bottom floor, so you could put your things on the "balcony" instead of having to carry them around back to the apartment. Security does nightly checks, and you can't get in the building or parking garage unless you have the key fob, so it's very secure. Will definitely be coming back.

Spacious well furnished apartment, comfy bed, good shower & plenty of relaxing space in lounge. Excellent washing machine & dryer. Good kitchen & coffee machine but needs more cutlery (1 fork!) & crockery. Welcome pack w cereals & snacks 😋 thank you. Central pool area is wonderful, good pool for kids as only 3ft deep. Secure apartments, locked & good air con. Location is driving distance to down town w local supermarkets & restaurants in walking distance. Good wifi. Value for money.

Accessing the apartment late at night was v difficult. There is a key box to find, then you have to guess which of the 12 key boxes is yours! We had to put the code into every one. The keys or inside the box also needs the apartment number. A long phone call w Booking.com finally helped us to resolve. Warning: the check.in instructions are lengthy & extend beyond word limit for online instructions text box!

location was perfect, about 10-15 mins from everywhere we visited!

thought there was going to be actual beds, but there was a pull out couch which was fine. there was also an inflatable that deflated throughout the night so some had to sleep on the couch.
