"Good value stay in a comfortable pod"

Friendly helpful hosts and horses for neighbours. Clean comfortable pods. Nice cafe in the village for breakfast. As learners it was great to hear Welsh spoken everywhere.

"Very lovely weekend.. would definitely return again"

10.0

Pod was lovely to stay in. Plenty big enough for two people. Outside water tap and BBQ area fenced in with the pod.. Toilet and shower very close. Private single shower. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Farm animals were also friendly :)

Very much enjoyed all of it. Nothing negative to report. The hot water tap in the ladies sink broke one night and was in the process of being fixed when I woke the following morning.

"Great value pod near Snowdon — cozy, scenic, and super friendly!"

10.0

We had an amazing stay here, such good value for money! It was less than a 15 minute drive to hike Snowdon and the pod had everything we needed, including a kettle and small heater. The host was incredibly friendly and the scenery is idyllic, including horses living in the field next door. The shower facilities and toilets are quite basic, however, nothing out of the ordinary for a campsite. We would definitely stay again!

"Not worth the money, ruined the weekend."

2.0

Elen was nice enough, her partner came across as abrupt as first but then chatty and nice enough. This place is in someone's back garden where they keep their horses so you can get up close to their horses which is lovely. They also have a ginger cat that is louder than an engine with its purrs and some sheep and Shetland ponies. The gates were somewhat annoying but the toilets were close, only one gate away.

This was actually painful to stay in, the mattress was so awful with springs poking into me that I had to take the seat cushion from the bench and chairs to put on top of the mattress just to be able to not be in pain, my partner who normally sleeps like a log, woke up 3 times in the night just to roll over off a spring. Just running your hand gently over the mattress you could feel every spring. Admittedly after we complained on the first night and the chap came over to look at it (this was when he was a bit abrupt) they got us a mattress topper for the second night but it barely helped. It wasn't just uncomfortable, it was painful. Part of the point of a night away in a glamping pod or a hotel is to be comfortable and sleep well and this mattress really took away from our weekend. The other thing we found really cheeky is that it says on here that showers are included and yes there is a shower but if you want anything but ice cold water you have to pay £2 for 4 minutes of hot water! After spending so much money already (as this was not the cheapest option available) we found this just so cheeky, especially when added to the fact that the bed was so uncomfortable, you don't have access to a kitchen at all so you eat out a lot, it was just not worth it. Also there is no wifi available, we were going to ask for the wifi code but our devices couldn't even find a network for us to ask for the code for. I really wouldn't stay again, I'm sorely disappointed that after the problems with the mattress they didn't offer us even a partial discount. This very much had the feeling of someone who had set up like an air BNB type thing in the back garden and needed an extra couple quid in their pocket and didn't care about anything else, let alone the customers experience.
