Unique 4 Bedroom - Next Mamilla

The apartment is very large with 4 bedrooms. Bathrooms are beautifully renovated.

We booked an extended family vacation for my birthday, taking my children and grandchildren. We attempted to get in touch with the host many times and were unable until we contacted Bookings.com to intervene. We requested to view the property prior to our stay. The host texted my son with the code to enter the building and apartment. The host never spoke to my son or myself for that matter despite stating that he advised us that the apartment is located in a street with 4 huge BARS/PUBS who play excessive music. NOT "little' noise as he later described to bookings.com when the issue was raised with them, because again the host refused to converse with us. When my son visited, the bars were not open. If you intend to party all night and have no intention to sleep, then this is the apartment for you. However, BEWARE that loud music continues every single night except friday night until till 3 or 4 am in the morning. Then the bars pack up by dragging the chairs and tables across the floor, screaming as they do it. 3 out of the 4 bedrooms face the BAR/PUBS street and due to poor insulation, the noise is extreme. On several nights we even called the police. but as soon as they left, the loud music reurned. We contacted the host and heard absolutely nothing. We raised the concern with bookings.com and the host responded to booking.com that he told us and that the noise is "little'. Nothing could be further from the truth. We took 3 grandchildren aged 5, 2 and 2. (which the host knew about as when we booked we advised how many and who was staying) No-one would stay in this place on vacation with children. We had very unhappy family members on what was suposed to be a once in a lifetime vacation. Far from vacation.......

The apartment is fairly spacious. There are four bedrooms and three baths and a large living room area. The kitchen is a bit tight and there's no separate dining room. The ceilings appear to be 15 or 16 feet high.

Location, location. If you want to be in the mix in the middle of Jerusalem within walking distance to the old city, it's a fantastic location. The only downside is that is literally adjacent to a bar that was blaring music until 3am or so. I had to wear the earplugs provided by the airplane to drown out some of the noise.
