Frankton Breeze 1 | Close to Queenstown CBD

The studio room was lovely, the fittings looked fairly new, and the bed was huge. Views over the rooftops to the lake and hills. Plenty of hot water for the shower. Towel warmer. This studio was at a better price than many other offerings that had truly eye watering prices. Note, we booked the night before and our stay included a Saturday, which probably limited our options. Dedicated parking spot. Bus stop nearby if guests have no car.

Steep steps up to the Studio past the main house, made trickier by a car parked in the driveway partially blocking access, and a NZ Flax plant further obstructing the walkway and causing a tripping hazard. Franklin Rd is more like a dead end lane. Thankfully my husband is very good at tricky parking. If you go nose first into the car park spot, getting out is tricky, or you can choose a tricky reverse park and easy exit.

King bed was good. Unit was warm. Good for overnight stay, close to airport.

Very small car spaces to get in and out off. Had to walk past car in driveway to access stairs up to unit. Hard with large suitcases. Probably good for a weekend stay. Well equipped kitchenette? Didn't have large plates or bowl to cook in microwave with. Dishes had to be washed in bathroom sink! King bed good. Shower door nearly falling off. Otherwise unit clean.

Location was great. Bus service close at hand and excellent parking.

Washing up facilities could have been improved with a container for washed dishes.

The parking out the front was pretty tight.

There are no shops and restaurants near by that work after 9pm, so had to be creative about dining

Clean, large, comfortable bed. Straightforward check in and departure.

No kitchen sink. Very steep steps. Cars parking at the bottom of the steps made getting suitcases to the stairs. Not walkable into Queenstown. Overall, very, very expensive for what was on offer.

Good location for us easy with a car. Value for money.

Could have done with a sink in the room to wash up dishes. Thin walls and if next door had a shower at the same time water went cold.

Location was good property was reasonably clean , comfortable

Some little maintenance things needed attention, toilet seat needs to be set back so it is flush with front of bowl, basin plug doesn’t hold the water ,
