JANE’S HOUSE & SPA BEDUGUL BALI

Jane's House was a dream. The location, up in the hills of Central Bali, is beautiful , with a stunning view from the terrace of my chalet. The traditional style house was spacious and comfortable and I enjoyed soaking in the stand alone bath! There's lots of really hot water available, . unlike in many places in Bali. Ketut, the owner, couldn't have been kinder and more helpful with planning an excursion to the Botanical gardens and the wonderful Puru Bratan temple 30 minutes drive away. His brother served up good breakfasts and took me by scooter to the little restaurant down the road. It's a long way from the tourist hotspots..a farming area which is still the authentic Bali. I would definitely return.

Het tuintje was goed verzorgd

We kwamen op het afgesproken tijdstip maar er was niemand aanwezig. Uiteindelijk hebben we iemand gebeld die de deur voor ons open deed. Er was geen wifi, en is absoluut niets te doen in de omgeving. Als je zelf geen vervoer hebt dan kun je niks doen, grab werkt niet in dat gebied. De lokale warung bleek al vroeg in de middag dicht, verder geen restaurants op loopafstand. Wij hebben hier niet met plezier verbleven, gelukkig hadden we maar 1 nacht geboekt.

Ketut is a great host who cares for his customers. He went out of his way to get a local warung open at night so that we can have dinner (we had arrived late evening after 7pm). The service of the staff was on time and responsive. The location is rural and the facilities are basic around the house. This adds to the charm of that place. The area shuts down by 6pm. Ketut and his wife has designed and built the place themself. The compound is well maintained and cared for.

One of the reasons we booked there was to have Spa services at the location. It turns out there is no spa at Jane's anymore. It is being moved to another location 20 min away (by car). The breakfast was of good portions , but rustic in nature. It depends on your expectations and pallet if you will enjoy it.

Las habitaciones son preciosas y cuentan con todo lo necesario. La ubicación para nosotros era perfecta, en un entorno rural y cerca de cascadas. El dueño nos facilitó mucho todo, hizo todo lo que pudo para ayudarnos y además nos alquiló buenas motos.

Es necesario usar el traductor para que haya buen entendimiento, pero esto no afecte a la maravillosa experiencia

Tuvimos la suerte de alojarnos en este lugar maravilloso, rodeado de naturaleza y con una atmósfera verdaderamente especial. Desde el primer momento nos sentimos como en casa: el entorno es tranquilo, auténtico y perfectamente integrado con la belleza de Bali. Lo que hizo aún más especial nuestra estancia fue la atención de K, que fue sencillamente magnífica. No solo estuvo siempre pendiente de que estuviéramos cómodos, sino que también nos acercó de forma genuina a la cultura local. Este alojamiento no es solo un lugar donde dormir, sino un punto de partida para conectar con la verdadera esencia de Bali. Volveríamos sin dudarlo y lo recomendamos de corazón a cualquiera que busque algo más que unas simples vacaciones.

Le lieu est exceptionnel ! On est au paradis ! Les bungalows sont magnifiques en pleine nature . Nous avons adoré ce lieu et nous aurions aimé y rester plus longtemps
