The quality of the surrounding roads is poor

Kekut’s self-built house is perfect for the nice and cool ~20°C weather in Bedugul (1.3km above sea level). It’s private, has its own fence and gate and only 2 houses in the property, each housing only 2 pax. All the basics are well-covered: drinking water dispenser, hot shower water, stable power, even a small kitchen if you want to do some meal prep. Breakfast was a large spread and everything was delicious and personally prepared by Kekut every morning! Many key attractions (strawberry farms, temples, waterfalls, lakes) are just maybe half an hour’s drive away. We were very lucky to be able to hire Kekut to drive us around, including airport transfer. Through him, we’ve learnt so much about Balinese culture and traditions, and now we really understand why this part of Indonesia is so unique and popular. He is also super patient and friendly and very respectful of our personal space. I hope many more tourists will get the same experience we did, because I honestly think it’ll be one of the best ones I’ll ever have in my life. Thank you Kekut, if I return to the region I will definitely return.

Open-air shower can be a little cold if you’re not used to low temperatures but the hot water makes up for it, just be mentally prepared! It’s the countryside, so expect company of animals, especially roosters which can’t seem to figure out when is dawn lol. This is the same experience in every countryside we went, not a problem of this particular listing. We were too tired to be bothered but you can bring earplugs if you want.

El rincón en el que está es muy bonito aunque un poco apartado. El lugar es limpio y la cama es muy cómoda, el dueño suele responder rápido (via WhatsApp). Nos dieron para alquilar una moto por 150kIDR al día que estaba bastante bien y nueva (aunque no nos pidió carnet, ni contrato, ni pasaporte, ni nos dieron los papeles de la moto/seguro).

No tiene nada de spa con lo cual el nombre lleva a confusión. Cosas como el armario o las puertas estan faltas de mantenimiento y el desayuno es bastante escaso. Aunque nos solucionó rápidamente un par de problemas que nos surgieron con la estancia sí que notamos cierta falta de profesionalidad.

Tout était parfait ! L’hôte est une personne extraordinaire , il a réussi à faire ouvrir un restaurant spécialement pour nous un soir où tout était fermé ; il nous a emmené jusqu’à Sidemen (deux heures de route ) et cerise sur le gâteau ; mon copain avait oublié sa chemise à l’hôtel et l’hôte nous a ramené la chemise jusqu’à Kuta (notre dernier hôtel) il est incroyable ! La chambre est parfaite , décorée avec soin , la salle de bain typique balinaise est parfaite et l’endroit est calme et reposant ! Tout était parfait merci !

Location molto bella e tranquilla! Il proprietario è davvero molto gentile e disponibile. Ci ha aiutato e consigliato molto. Parla perfettamente inglese e ci ha anche accompagnato in aeroporto il giorno seguente. Consigliato!

La verdad es que el sitio es precioso, comodo y bonito. Para relajarnos y descansar.

El acceso a lo mejor es lo único así un poco malo, pero merece la pena para pasar allí unos días.
