No10 Bristol - 2 Bedroom house with private garden and parking

Parking excellent. Needed to park 2 cars as I was meeting up with my brother and his partner and we live in different parts of the country, and this was no problem. Great location. I usually stay in the city centre but this was a good alternative. Bus stop just round the corner and very frequent buses . Clean, comfortable base for exploring Bristol. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the house as we were out all day every day, but everything we needed was there.

The shower was very good, but also very slippery. A non slip shower mat should be provided. We found it a challenge to share a smallish bathroom between 3 adults, especially as the only loo was in the bathroom, but we were aware of this when we booked and we made it work.

Beds very comfortable and nice airy bedrooms

Good value for a short stay

If you have the front windows open there is constant traffic noise

Location

needs some work to bring it back to a reasonable state and there was supposed to be a coffee pod machine, one of the reasons I rented it. Back yard is a mess, used paint tins and old furniture weeds 2ft tall, chairs are covered in bird shit dog shit everywhere old mouldy trampoline in the back corner that is unusable plants are all dead or dying inside and out just to mention a few things.

Bathmat needed. Bathroom is small so some manoeuvring is needed

Clean and well located but had to switch boiler on once arrived and house did not warm sufficiently. Conversation with owner did not fix problem and we were freezing. The outside temperature was between 0 and -2 and the indoor thermostat only went up to 17 but then dropped back to 14 and it took 3 hours to reach the max temperature (17) we ended up sleeping in lots of layers and left as soon as possible in the morning to shower at family’s property nearby as the bathroom was too cold to use.

Temperature. Cold on arrival with boiler switched off at mains and didn’t heat sufficiently to be comfortable there.
