Modern 1 Bed Apartment, Sea Views, free parking, wifi, netflix

Great location right on the sea front with a handy parking space. Sea view front and back is a bit of a novelty. Tastefully decorated. Well equipped kitchen. We had trouble with the keybox, but the host was excellent and with us in half an hour with a spare set of keys and some tools to fix the keybox.

Top floor apartment so lots of stairs to get up there.

From the ratings this was given, clearly some folks are either too polite for honesty or else they have remarkably low standards! If someone appreciates the feeling of vertigo, this place is great! It is at the top of a 4 flights of stairs walkup(!!) which should be clearly defined in the listing. The floors are so wonky that I rolled a small cylindrical object and it shot from one side of the room to the other. The bed was so horrible that I actually slept on the floor! The mattress is stained and is a spring coil model that has no support under it so you can appreciate every tightening metal screw like quality of the crappy mattress. There was no bath soap, no basics in the kitchen such as salt and pepper or oil or dishwashing soap. There is a pathetically misspelled and completely pointless “book” with useless information (restaurant names but no address, misspelled listings, QR codes that only feed back to the owner…) that rests on the table that demands a £50 replacement fee which demonstrates the quality of the owners/managers It was very difficult to get a response from the manager and the checkout time was 9 am! I’ve never heard of such a checkout time! It is directly across from a very popular park so you are kicked out of bed by 5 am due to the crappy curtains and the 17 hours of daylight days and are kept awake until the wee hours by people partying. Save your health and sanity and book elsewhere!.

The location of the property is fabulous, convenient for both beaches and the town. The views are stunning from all aspects.

The stairs to the apt, there are quite a lot so not a good choice for someone with health problems.

Beautiful Aesthetics and serene atmosphere. Lovely comfortable peaceful bedroom with bedside lamps and plugs for charging and luxury bedding and pillows. Modern well equipped spacious open plan kitchen and dining. The entire apartment is much more spacious than the pictures show. Powerful modern new shower and a joy to have a relaxing bath. Lovely to look through the window and see the rising and setting sun over the sea. Great to park right outside the front door, off road in a town crowded with cars and parking competition like much of UK.

I recommend guests don’t bring any heavy luggage or groceries shopping as several climbing journeys up and down five flights of stairs takes time and effort and this needs to be anticipated within the 4 pm check in and 9 am check out. I recommend extending this so that there is enough time to enjoy this apartment after the effort to get up there! I was only able to start enjoying the apartment after 6pm once I had seen what i needed to buy for the kitchen and bathroom and shopped and come back. I got up extra early and skipped breakfast to manage the journeys up and down the stairs for this early check out on my last day. This makes this apartment only a bed for the night or a one day enjoyment for a two night price.

The property was lovely, everything we needed for our stay was there, it was spotlessly clean, comfortable and with fabulous views
