Lovely cosy cottage with great views.

The stairs were pretty lethal as they’re so steep and tread width not big enough. Wasn’t able to have a bath as the water wasn’t hot enough.

The cottage was beautiful and very well equipped. The location was beautiful and the views were stunning.

The location made absolutely everything accessible and the beautiful views from the accommodation, are hard to beat. Off road parking was especially welcome, as we have an autistic child. The rooms are a good size, very clean, with plenty of storage and hanging space. Nice to have space to sit outside also, especially in better weather. Great kitchen, with oven/hob and microwave, instead of just a microwave only, that's found in a lot of accommodation these days. Overall, a great sized and cosy place to stay, with or without a family, whether it's a base - if you're going exploring - or, just want a quiet break away! My rating is showing as an 8.0 for the property, but realistically, it's closer to 9/10.

If I had to be really fussy, the shower was a bit tempremental and couldn't get the living room window to open, side door lock was a bit sticky too. Back garden needs a wee spruce up, looked a bit deserted, however it was tidy. Some hanging space maybe, for damp towels and such (post swim) a bit closer to the property, rather than having to walk away up the back of the garden over wet grass? (didn't want to keep dragging grass in to the house and didn't want to be drying anything on radiators, especially if the weather is warm and dry) there is an unfair question on here, about bed comfort, which I've answered honestly, but everyone has their own preference. Front room mattress was very firm, but someone else may prefer that. I'm a bit of a goldilocks when it comes to beds... That's about it really! :)

The location was excellent. We love Lochgoilhead and know it fairly well as family came from there. Cottage was perfect for our needs. Was well equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Wish we had been able to stay longer!
