"A horrible experience"

A cosy cottage is a lovely establishment, situated in a beautiful suburb. The host even allowed an early check-in (but little did we know)...

The host’s attitude towards my family was nothing short of appalling. From the very beginning, her rudeness set the tone for what became an unpleasant and uncomfortable stay. Despite having made prior arrangements, she went against her word not once, but twice, displaying a complete disregard for the trust we had placed in her. What made matters worse was her blatant lack of concern for our wellbeing when it came to her dogs. Even after openly sharing that members of my family had experienced past trauma involving dogs, she still refused to lock them away or make any effort to keep them separate from the guests. Instead, she allowed them to roam freely in the yard, where they constantly harassed and frightened us, turning what should have been a peaceful environment into a space filled with anxiety and fear. On top of all this, her cocky and dismissive attitude only amplified the discomfort. Rather than showing even the smallest measure of empathy or respect, she carried herself in a way that made it seem as though our concerns were insignificant and undeserving of her attention

Convenient comfortable Friendly welcome.

Would prefer a fob for the gate. Very clever using phone though. Costs me R120 per day to use my international phone so that’s my reason.

"Lovely stay , worthy of a booking."

Lovely view and private setting. Security is very good. Cosy cottage is an appropriate name for the property. Hostess is very friendly.

The bed is not very firm . If there was a decent mattress, I would give the place a 10 rating.
