"Complicated deposit system"

Location near city centre

1) The heating system (supplying water to radiators, taps and showers) was broken on our arrival. Fortunately the property owner was nearby and made a repair (nice guy...thanks). 2)The online booking system foxed us completely. It demanded a last minute security deposit of £100... and this was buried in the "online manual". It was not clear that there were extra "conditions". Booking.com said all was paid, and a £500 charge would be made against my credit card. But obviously not... several of the group agree that this was opaque and confusing. We missed this extra £100 and the system would not allow me to pay it. I made 6 attempts to pay and each time the system generated a request to pay £0. I phoned the help line 4 times. My group of 9 had arrived in Cardiff uncertain if we would ever get a door key code. At last a human took pity and did it for us. All in all a very stressful start to our holiday in

"Fantastic stay!"

Perfect house, very spacious and comfortable. Approx. 20 mins walk from the city centre. Slept 13 of us and didn’t feel crowded once. Pool table was an added bonus!
